Clarifying our $89 Service

There has been a bit of confusion about our $89 service recently. Typically, contractors give free estimates on full roof replacements. While we at Bakeris Roofing also provide full roof replacement estimates at no charge, we go above and beyond by providing an excellent value for just $89.

For that small fee, we visit your home to talk with you about any leaks or other roof problems that might need repair. After sitting down to talk about your current roof issues, we go up into the attic to pinpoint where any leaks may be. While we’re up there, we make sure that everything is properly vented out of the attic. Many times bathroom exhaust fans are pumped through the attic without venting through the roof or to the soffit. We will also make sure that you have enough insulation in your attic. In our area, Mid America will help pay for your insulation if you don’t have enough.

After we make sure your house is working efficiently we go onto the roof to inspect for leaks. This includes a 17 point inspection. We will inspect gutters and siding if your house has siding that attaches to the roof. Many times we will see damaged and chewed siding that isn’t visible on the ground. We also usually walk around the outside perimeter of the house with the homeowner to make sure everything is intact. There may be storm damage that has gone unnoticed.

Doing a full inspection in the attic and roof typically takes a minimum of 60 minutes. Once our customers realize the great care we take with both roofing and other home issues we are sure that they will feel they got their $89 worth. Remember, we still offer full roof replacement estimates at no charge to you.
