“The Most Important Day in a Roof’s Life”

“The Most Important Day in a Roof’s Life”

The most important day in the life of a roof is the day that it’s installed. The number one reason why roofs fail is because they weren’t installed properly. Let’s take shingles for example: the nails might be placed too high. They can be a couple of inches higher than what the manufacturer instructs, or they might not be properly overlapped to withstand weather conditions.

At Bakeris Roofing, that’s why we’re so picky about who we bring onto our team. We know that if you bring on the wrong people, there is a good chance they will not do the job according to our standards. At the end of the day, you can have all the best warranties and guarantees, but if the roof isn’t installed properly, it isn’t going to live through its expected lifespan.

Roofs aren’t cheap—they are a big investment for homeowners. That’s why we are so committed to taking the steps necessary to bring the best people on our team. We get our team certified with the shingle companies so you can be confident that they will do a great job. At Bakeris Roofing, we say that you get what you pay for. If you try to cut costs by going to a cheap company, they will need to cut corners. There is a good reason why they are so cheap. They might have an untrained team or may not have proper insurance. Maybe they are not licensed contractors and trying to fly under the radar.

Also, if a contractor can’t give you a one year warranty on their workmanship, run away! Shady contractors lower the bar for the entire roofing industry. Scammers will leave you high and dry, either avoiding your calls or saying they will come to your house while never actually showing up.

At Bakeris Roofing, a big part of our business is repairs. We know that there is really no such thing as a repair that is too small. You’ll get a warranty on everything we do, even including repairs.
