Certificate of Completion

Whenever we finish a project for homeowners at Bakeris Roofing, we fill out a certificate of completion. (We used to call it post-job inspection). We come back and walk around to make sure everything is cleaned up. We also get up on the roof to perform another look-over. That’s part of our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason we aren’t doing absolutely everything we’re supposed to, we want to know about it.
We do the certificate of completion to make sure that we’re proactive. Here’s a sample question: “Was there anything during the process that you think Bakeris Roofing could improve upon?”
We want to know if there’s anything we can do to make our services better for homeowners. We care about your ideas, thoughts, and creativity. When you give us feedback, we pay attention to what you have to say.
Another goal of our certificate of completion is to make it easier for homeowners to feel comfortable about telling us everything that’s going on. We train everyone on our team to break down questions to learn about how the job went. Sometimes if we ask you about specific details, it’ll help us to learn how we can do our best. We might ask, “How was cleanup? Did we keep your plants safe and protected?”
Maybe a homeowner will respond, “You know, now that I think about it, I noticed that the guys could’ve covered up a plant a bit better.” Those little details add up to huge results in the long run. (Not only when it comes to a company like Bakeris Roofing, but also in your personal life.)
We think making people happy about the little details is important. If everyone could go around and make an effort to be kind to each other, wouldn’t that be grand?
