The Ronald McDonald House
We think it’s incredibly important to give back to our community. We’re going to start donating our time and money to the Ronald McDonald House.
Kids who are fighting cancer, along with their families, need a place where they can stay and spend time with others. Everyone at the Ronald McDonald House is invested in making sure they get better. We don’t want to just write a check—we also want to give our time and care in-person.
The Ronald McDonald House had a list of different things you can do: You can cook or help with the yard, for example. We’re going to start going this month and our whole team is excited to take part. If you’re part of the team at Bakeris Roofing, there’s no question about it. We are going to help with such an important cause.
We’re glad that there’s a Ronald McDonald House here in Des Moines. One of my friends does a fundraiser bicycle ride, and I would love to be on the committee. If you think you can support the Ronald McDonald House in some way, please reach out to them. They are doing an important thing for some strong kids.
