We are hiring a residential project supervisor to oversee roofing, siding and gutter jobs from start to finish. You are the main field contact for the homeowner, the crew and the office, and you make sure every job is organized, documented and done to Bakeris standards.
You get a company vehicle. Residential construction or roofing experience helps.
Bakeris Roofing is family owned. Jeff Bakeris runs it and has since 1990. The shop is in Runnells and there's an office in Des Moines.
What you would do
- Supervise roofing, siding and gutter crews, and watch workmanship, production and safety
- Keep homeowners up to date on schedules, progress, questions and problems
- Do inspections before, during and after the job, plus the final walkthrough and punch list
- Take detailed job photos and notes in CompanyCam
- Manage site visits, inspections and appointments in Google Calendar
- Check materials and installation, and catch roofing, flashing, decking, ventilation, siding and gutter problems
- Clear any extra work or changes with the office and the homeowner before it starts
- Protect landscaping, siding, windows and the rest of the property, and check cleanup
- Report repeat quality or crew problems to management
What we need
- Residential construction or roofing experience preferred
- Good with people: clear communication, customer service, organized, solves problems
- Able to run a crew and hold it to our quality standard
- Comfortable with CompanyCam, Google Calendar and a phone or tablet
- Comfortable on ladders and residential roofs
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and work outdoors
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
